Ticket sales are closed for the master classes by Donald Sutherland, Daniel Auteuil, Frances McDormand, Bong Joon-ho, Gael García Bernal and Ken Loach. Tickets will be available the same day for each event at the Comédie Odéon.

Laureate of the Lumière Award in 2012, and since crowned with a second Palme d’Or, Ken Loach comes back to Lyon for an exceptional – and political – meeting with the public, and the premiere of his new movie, Sorry We Missed You, selected for competition at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Winner of the Palme d’Or at the last Cannes Film Festival, the director of Parasite, gifted auteur of Okja, Memories of Murder and Snowpiercer, will join us at the Lumière festival.

Friday, October 18 at 11:30am at the Comédie Odéon

Discovered in Amours chiennes (Love’s a Bitch) by Alejandro Gonzales Iñárritu, he went on to make films with Pedro Almodóvar, Alfonso Cuarón, Walter Salles, Pablo Larraín and Werner Herzog. He is one of the festival’s guests of honor.

A conversation with the talented actress, writer and singer, who was directed by the likes of André Cayatte, Robert Hossein, Marco Ferreri, Bertrand Tavernier and Jean-Luc Godard.
