"Do you dream a lot?" asks Irène Jacob, President of the Lumière Institute.

Many little hands were raised this Wednesday afternoon in the amphitheatre of the Woman-Mother-Child Hospital in Bron. Among the young patients was 9-year-old Jassim, a keen Spider-Man fan, who was about to attend his first cinema screening. On the programme for today, is Alice in Wonderland, a classic from the Disney studio which is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary. Young and old alike were able to (re)discover this animated gem released in 1951. "My son was really looking forward to this screening. It gives us a chance to share a moment together outside his treatment," confided Soumia Philip, Jassim's mother. At the end of their visit with Irène Jacob, the children were even treated to an impromptu magic act performed on stage by their friend Harold. They then received some gifts from the Lumière Institute, including notebooks so they could "write down (their) dreams and draw". All aboard for Wonderland!
