Comfy armchairs, some refreshments and a giant screen. The front row is already full at the OVE Foundation respite home in Tassin-la-Demi-Lune.

This healthcare establishment, which welcomes children and adults with disabilities and their loved ones, is a real haven of comfort. The respite home is participating in its first Lumière film festival. Today, Alexandre, 37, a Spider-Man fan, is in the audience. He comments, ‘I love funny films. It's great to have a screening here!’ Seated next to him, Cédric, 56, is delighted to be attending this screening on the day he arrived at the establishment: ‘I really like the cinema, I used to go often. My favourite actress is Andie MacDowell’. When he learns about tonight's cast, a father smiles: Jane Fonda and Robert De Niro will play the lead roles in the film Stanley & Iris by American director Martin Ritt. A committed filmmaker, Ritt's work is ‘a tribute and an ode to those who help others,’ says Irène Jacob, President of the Institut Lumière. A statement that strikes a chord with today's audience of patients and healthcare workers.
