BRIEF BIO: Her parents have always been involved in associations that help children. In particular, they take in young Ukrainian refugees. ‘Ever since I was a child, I've believed that it's important to be committed to causes that reflect our values,’ says Anna Leloup. Volunteering is in the DNA of this young woman with azure blue eyes, who comes from Saint-Didier-de-Formans, near Villefranche-sur-Saône. At 22, she boasts an impressive CV: a graduate of Sciences Po Lyon and a member of the German-speaking association at the same school, Anna provides educational and cultural support within the Association of the Student Foundation for the City (Afev). With her parents, she participates in humanitarian missions and fundraising for the association ‘Ukrainian Children 01’. Passionate about cinema, she worked as a production assistant for the distributor Madison Films as part of her studies and has appeared as an extra in music videos. Living in the Monplaisir-Lumière neighbourhood, Anna is joining the team of volunteers this year. In parallel with the festivities, the young Lyonnaise is looking for an internship with a film distributor. The word is out!

MY FAVOURITE DIRECTORS: I love the creativity and aesthetics of Luc Besson. And the whole visual universe of Jean-Pierre Jeunet !

MY GO-TO FILM: Amelie: both for the beautiful setting and the quality of the script. I think this film is brilliant, it's a really savvy mix of humour and aesthetics.

WHY I VOLUNTEER: For me, commitment inevitably involves volunteering. I have always felt that it's primordial to get involved and feel useful. My parents volunteer for several associations and have always taken in Ukrainian children.

MY MISSIONS AT THE FESTIVAL: After participating in the mobile sales during the Opening Ceremony, I’ll help welcome festivalgoers to the Japanime All-Nighter, talks organised at the Village, and the Pathé Bellecour cinema.
