Quick bio: Victor Ehrmann, 24, has a degree in cinema and has worked as a volunteer at music festivals. He is currently retraining to become a production manager for contemporary music. Joining the team of volunteers was an opportunity for him to discover the festival from the inside.

My favourite filmmakers: Scorsese: for the portrait he paints of American society. As for Wim Wenders, I was delighted to learn that he had been chosen to receive the Lumière Award. I also love the quality of Greta Gerwig's writing. And Catherine Breillat for her film Last Summer!

The movie theatre where I discovered the cinema: The independent cinema L'Eldorado in Dijon. Then there were the cinema screenings organised by my father at home: he introduced me to Citizen Kaneand the work of Chaplin.

My favourite film: Interstellar by Christopher Nolan. It's my Proust madeleine.

Why I volunteer: It's the logistics that really appeal to me, and I love the excitement and energy of a festival!

My festival missions: To seat and welcome cinemagoers, work in ticketing be a driver and also act as a point of contact for volunteers at the UGC Ciné Cité Confluence.
