At the Villa Lumière, Lucas Moritz, 16, and his mates from the senior high school class of the pro photography section enjoyed “discovering new kinds of films that I would never have seen otherwise”. Nino Pavageau, 18, liked the aesthetics of the film: “especially the process of colour filtering”. Laurent Digon, professor documentalist, added, “Our establishment has been taking part in the festival for several years, thanks to the ‘High School Students and Apprentices in Cinema’ programme and a grant from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Aura)”. This year, nearly 5,500 students participated in the Lumière film festival. .
