Come by car

Getting to the Institut Lumière (Lyon 8th):

From Paris and Geneva, take the south ring, until the Grange Blanche exit, then follow Lyon center.

From Marseille, follow Lyon Center, then rive gauche. On the Avenue Berthelot, follow the direction Monplaisir to the Avenue des Frères Lumière.

Getting to the Lumière Film Festival Village - Cité de la Métropole de Lyon (Lyon 2nd):

From Paris, Geneva or Marseille, follow Lyon Center, then follow Bellecour / Presqu’île.
Head towards the Rhône riverbanks and follow the direction Hôtel-Dieu.
The Cité de la Métropole de Lyon is located on Place de l’Hôpital, Lyon 2nd district.

Getting around Lyon

The most practical and ecological way to attend the festival is to take public transportation. 

Getting to the Institut Lumière (Lyon 8th):

  • Metro line D: Monplaisir-Lumière stopmière,
  • Bus (from Lyon Part-Dieu train station):
    C16 – Monplaisir Lumière and Place Ambroise Courtois stops

Getting to the Lumière Film Festival Village - Cité de la Métropole de Lyon (Lyon 2nd):

  • Metro line A: Cordeliers or Bellecour stops
  • Bus (from Lyon Part-Dieu train station):
    > C13 – Cordeliers stop
    > TB11 – Cordeliers stop
