The Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is 25km from Lyon.
Le Rhône Express is a shuttle between the airport and the Lyon Part-Dieu train station that runs every 15 minutes, from 4:25am to midnight.

Via public transportation, the Lumière festival is 10 minutes from the Lyon Part-Dieu SNCF station and 20 minutes from the Lyon Perrache SNCF station.

Come by car
From Paris and Geneva, take the south ring, until the Grange Blanche exit, then follow Lyon center.
From Marseille, follow Lyon Center, then rive gauche. On the Avenue Berthelot, follow the direction Monplaisir to the Avenue des Frères Lumière.

Getting around Lyon
The most practical and ecological way to attend the festival is to take public transportation. The closest metro station to the Institut Lumière and the Village is Monplaisir Lumière, metro line D.
You can also take the bus- the C16 brings you to stops Monplaisir Lumière and Place Ambroise Courtois.
