This year, Lumière is opening a new chapter by taking over an iconic venue in the city, the Cité de la Metropole of Lyon at the Grand Hôtel-Dieu.
Across more than 2,000 m², with a completely redesigned layout created especially for the venue, the festival will offer a vibrant space open to everyone, with a wide range of activities and a special programme, including around thirty free events (programme here), a large cinema bookshop, a DVD, Blu-ray and UHD market, a bar where you can meet and relax, and an Italian counter-style restaurant to welcome you between screenings. The venue will also host professionals attending the International Classic Film Market.
Made possible with the support of the Métropole de Lyon.
