He will hold a master class on Thursday ,October 15, at 3pm at the Pathé Bellecour

Renowned for his collaborations with the biggest American directors and his work on films from John Cassavetes’s A Woman Under the Influence to Christopher McQuarrie’s Jack Reacher, a segment of James Cameron’s Titanic and the live-action remake of The Lion King (a worldwide box office hit), Caleb Deschanel is one of the world’s most influential directors of photography. He will join us in Lyon for his recent work on Travis Knight’s Wildwood, premiering at the festival, and will engage in a discussion about his remarkable career.

Director of several episodes of Twin Peaks, the cult series that changed viewing history in the 1990s, as well as Law & Order, a landmark institution in American television, hosting Deschanel at Lumière is an event in itself.

This event is organized in collaboration with Studio Laika.
