Lumière Terreaux

4 fully renovated screening rooms (architect: Gilbert Long Architectures) – Digital projection – Dolby 7.1 sound – 16 screenings every day.

Before being acquired and operated by the Institut Lumière, Lumière Terreaux cinema belonged to the Cinéma National Populaire network, better known by its acronym CNP. From its opening in 1976 until 2014, it was therefore known as CNP Terreaux.

The screening rooms have been completely renovated. In addition to reconfiguring the premises, introducing a new interior design, replacing the seats and installing air conditioning, the Institut Lumière also invested in making the venue accessible to people with reduced mobility. Lumière Terreaux is therefore equipped with a lift and wheelchair-accessible platforms.
