An official partner of the Lumière All-Nighter for the first time, AlloCiné Classiques will be on hand all night long
with entertainment, news, quizzes, breakdowns of scenes, anecdotes and more.
An exceptional edition calls for an exceptional All-Nighter. This year, the Lumière film festival invites you to a night on the edge of dreams, imagination, fantasy and reality, featuring four landmark films of Japanese animation: Princess Mononoke, Hayao Miyazaki's epic achievement, Your Name., a contemporary gem that has already gained a cult following, Belladonna of Sadness, a pure 70s psychedelic rarity worth discovering, and Satoshi Kon's Paprika, a veritable Mulholland Drive of animation.
It’s official: Orelsan joins the prestigious list of guests of Lumière 2025.
Phenomenon of French rap, brilliant artist, winner of 12 Victoires de la Musique awards—and a huge fan of manga culture—Orelsan will be in Lyon to introduce the Japanime all-nighter at the Halle Tony Garnier,
ahead of the French theatrical release of the film Yoroï.

Avid anime and manga enthusiast—his name itself is a nod to Japanese culture—who better than ‘Orel-san’ to introduce the Japanime All-nighter, a giant screening event at the Halle Tony Garnier, transformed for the occasion into one of the largest movie theatres in the world?
"Konichiwa! I'm back, been isolating for six months
I watched One Piece eight times, all 460 episodes."
—Lyrics from the song ‘2010’
Ahead of the fiction feature Yoroï, directed by David Tomaszewski and slated for release on 29 October, Orelsan—who co-wrote and stars in the film—will appear as a special guest at the Lumière film festival. In addition to his rap career, the artist, who ranks among the top rated French musical acts across all genres, has made numerous forays into film and television. He notably co-created and acted in the hit comedy series Bloqués, alongside his longtime collaborator, Gringe.
