Located in the festival village, the bookshop welcomes you daily from 10:30 am to 9pm.
Between two screenings or during a stroll through the village, explore a wide array of literature related to the cinema, featuring nearly 500 titles this year!

To extend the pleasure of your screenings, the 2024 Lumière programme will be in the spotlight, from Isabelle Huppert – along with the prestigious directors of her filmography- to Fred Zinnemann and Toshiro Mifune, without forgetting Costa-Gavras, Xavier Dolan or Giuseppe Tornatore... There will be a wide array of publications on the personalities celebrated this year, be they actors or filmmakers, as well as essays, analyses and novels that inspired the screenplays of the films on the lineup.

New releases, reference works and coffee table books are also featured, from classics to more obscure editions and a selection of film magazines to immerse yourself in the latest news of cinemas and movie passion. You can also peruse back-issues of Positif for a deeper dive into the thematic dossiers of the cinephile magazine, born in Lyon.
Finally, youngsters will find a treasure trove of works to introduce them to the wold of film; the children's section includes a range of documentaries on the cinema, its secrets, techniques and History, as well as graphic novels to discover some of the great names of the 7th art.
