Invitation to Alexander Payne

Portrait AlexanderPayneHe has twice won the Oscar for Best Screenplay, for Sideways (2004) and The Descendants (2011), employing his taste for well-crafted dialogue in the service of his irony, which is never devoid of emotion. Alexander Payne will introduce the premiere of his eighth feature, The Holdovers, a delightful gathering of three outcasts in 1970s America.
